Masaki's bday yay!!!
My son bday is May Day, so we get to enjoy holiday on Masaki bday every year.
Last year it was rather big bc mum-in-law decided to throw party. This year, me and hubby planned it to be more humble. Just us, doing what we like best, travelling.
We initially planned to go to Malang, alr booked hotel and all, but turned out train fare was ridiculous. So we cancelled our book. We went to mumuch nearer place, Solo. We googled, found good hotel, made reservation and arranged out itinerary.
Eventhough its possible to go there by car, we decided to take train instead bc we wanted to let Garren to enjoy train ride. Last time he went by train he wasnt even 2yo so i bet he alr forgot how it felt.

We started our journey from Tugu Train Station...

And got off at Purwosari Station.

We stayed at Paragon Hotel. Its connected to shopping mall, ofc there's also playground and lotsa food, yum. I loved loved the room, it's spacious, neat, we had reversible tv, sofa, and great view from 11th fl.

UNFORTUNATELY, we didn't get much time to like go out wandering the city bc every-time, literally every-time, we tried to go out, it rained. So disappointed we decided to make another trip just to get revenge. But I did taste food I didn't find in Jogja. And guess, all were Japanese. A Ha Ha

Yakitori place just outside the mall. we were curious bc when in Japan we didn't get to taste Yakitori. Yet, a big disappointment. It was overly expensive and tasted like sh*t.

Thank God this one cheered me up.

I know they don't look appealing -blame my bad photographic skill- but they tasted fantastic. Sausages Yakipan and Choco Ice Cream Yakipan. Recommended! Pan was fluffy, a bit salty from the butter, great combination with choco ice cream and ofc sausages. Ooh i really2 want to taste them again!!

Masaki liked it in here he didn't want to go home ^^

When we got home, the day after was Garren's bday. We were planning on buying small cake and fried chicken for neighbours, nothing big.
After Masaki got up, I kissed him a Happy Bday, and out of nowhere he asked me to take him swimming. His birthday wish was so simple haha. So swimming pool it was.

After swimming, it's party time.
Gintani bought the cake the night before-thank you Buyek, it was small and cute with lotsa candles. Masaki doesn't like sweets but he likes blowing candles so it's fine haha.

looking at his happy face, i felt happy too

Masaki is now officially 3yo.
Happy bday my lil one, be a healthy, smart, kind person. Mum loves you forever.

PS: this is my first time posting with images. I dunno how it will turn out haha
